The Problem

The Col'Cacchio auditing staff used to visit each store with a clipboard and pen to perform a store audit, they would then travel back to the office and retype all the details into a document which they would then send off to the stores. This was a very time consuming task for the staff.

The Solution I Built

Col'Cacchio was a Google Workspace client and Google Apps Script had just been released. I developed an entire workflow using Google Workspace and Google Cloud tools. All these tools were new to me and required intense on the job learning.

I converted all their paper forms to Google Forms that the audit staff could access on their iPads. The results were linked to Google Sheets where the Google App Script side of things took over to automate the rest of the process: Scores were calculted, data was converted into a formatted ducoment layout, converted to a pdf and email to all relevant parties. 

For dashboard and reporting purposes on a third party platform Col'Cacchio made use of, all data was pushed to various BigQuery tables and using third party connectors all data was always live and uptodate for reporting.

The Requirement

After the completion and success of the Store Audit process, Col'Cacchio needed a similar solution for the mystery diner program

The Solution I Built

Each month the diners who were allocated to a specific store recieved a link to a Google Formwhich they completed through the dining experience. Again data was stored in Google sheets and Google Apps Script converted the data to a readable format for the audit staff. Additional features were built in for audit staff to first verify the results before the report was emailed to the store managers.

Data was also automatically transfered to BigQuery tables for live reporting.
